Tanzania has officially enforced the ban on the use of foreign currencies, including the US Dollar (USD) and Kenyan Shilling (KSh), for all its domestic transactions. 

This directive aims to strengthen the Tanzanian Shilling (TSh) and safeguard the country's monetary sovereignty.

The directive mandates that all payments for goods and services within the country must be conducted exclusively in Tanzanian Shillings.
