Original (1946 – 1959): During the original, PCs depended on electronic valves (Vacuum Cylinders). A few famous PCs of original are ENIAC, EDVAC, UNIVAC, and so forth.

Second Era (1959 – 1965): During the subsequent age, PCs depended on Semiconductors. A few famous PCs of second-age are IBM 1400, IBM 1620, IBM 7000 series, and so forth.

Third Era (1965 – 1971): During the third era, PCs depended on Incorporated Circuits (ICs). A few famous PCs of the third era are IBM 360, IBM 370, PDP, and so forth.

Fourth Era (1971 – 1980): During the fourth era, PCs depended for exceptionally huge scope coordinated (VLSI) circuits. A few well known PCs of fourth-age are STAR 1000, Loco 1, Crazy X-MP, DEC 10, and so on.

Fifth Era (1980 – Present): The fifth era is as yet continuous. The PCs depend on various advances, like ultra enormous scope reconciliation (ULSI), man-made brainpower (computer based intelligence), and equal handling equipment. The fifth era of PCs incorporates Work area, PC, Journal, and so on.
