Following the coup d'état that toppled President Umaro Sissoco Embaló, General Horta N'Tam was inaugurated on Thursday as Transitional President in Guinea-Bissau.
This appointment follows General Denis N'canha's announcement yesterday of the government's dissolution. General Horta N'Tam now leads the country, whose political stability remains very fragile.
