Simisola Ogunleye, regarded professionally as Simi, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. Born in the Surulere vicinity of Lagos country, Simi is the last in a own family of 4. Her mother and father separated when she changed into simply 9 years old.
growing up, she changed into a member of her church choir and spent most of her time making a song and dancing. She reportedly wrote her first music on the age of ten. but it wasn’t until she released her debut album, “Ogaju” that her music career started properly.
The Mass communication graduate of Covenant university had a flavor of fame in 2014 while her single “Tiff” earned her nominations on the Headies. even though she didn’t win in either category, she had created a top notch impression as one of the rising best voices in the song industry.
