The junta leader of West African nation, Guinea, Col Mamady Doumbouya, is scheduled to be sworn into as interim President.
Col. Doumbouya led a coup operation against deposed President Alpha Condé in September 2021.
His swearing in ceremony is billed to be held at the presidential palace.
Local media reports in Guinea monitored by African Entertainment say the swearing in ceremony will be attended by only those who have been invited.
Once sworn in, the coup leader, aged 41, is expected to f9rm a government.
Col. Doumbouya will become the second youngest head of state in Africa. The youngest head of state currently is Mali’s Col Assimi Goïta, 38 who led a coup against President Ibrahim Keïta.
