 MATA KASURU - COCOSAN - SOUTH SUDAN MUSIC

Emmanuel Ferid popularly known by his stage name COCOSAN is a South Sudanese recording artist and a songwriter, born and raised in a Christian family Cocosan started his music career by playing local musical instruments like Adungu (local musical instrument) and drums in the Church. He recorded a number of gospel songs as well. In 2016 he started recording and singing officially with his first single being New riddim and since then he has recorded songs like my boo, Angelina, isim taki, international baby, iphone , dede dada, oje ne and his latest song WAJA.

Cocosan does zouk, afro zouk and afro beat genres of music. He has also done a number of collaborations with different artist within and outside South Sudan; he has worked with Fanan Ngala, Qdee, Santiolo Y, Jackia, Vkay Cee from Uganda and Yanas with some of these projects still unfinished.

In 2019 he was nominated by South Sudan Music Awards (SSMA) in the categories of Best songwriter and Best collaboration of the year with the song International baby featuring Fanan Ngala a song that topped radio charts for a while in the country. He is currently under Tizzy Camp Music.
